Altar Updates again!
Bast didn’t have enough space. I tried to move the altar but She didn’t like three places I had it, until I found this spot on my desk.
The new cat figure is one I’ve had since childhood. I placed it on Bast’s altar because it represents my mother’s late feline friend, Buffy. I trust Bast to take care of her.
As well, I gave Bast my reed diffuser and added an apple cinnamon oil. It has a green (apple) candle and a cinnamon candle by it.
Under the cinnamon candle in the Egyptian holder is blue vervain, which is associated with Bast. There is also pyrite and hematite down there, and a bell. Another bell now rests on the ceramic cat statue’s neck. Three silver plates have been added.
As usual, She has tiger’s eye, Her soap carving, and the green 3 part dish rectangle that Her flowers are in (on the other side), the cat holding Baby’s Breath, and the two far candles. The bronze cat is relatively new.
Not shown: The necklace I wear for Her, and the jar of Lapis Lazuli I carry in a pouch for Her.
My grade 4 recorder is on the far right on the same table. I figured She would enjoy having a musical instrument close.
Dua Bast!
