Were there ever any Ancient Egyptian marriage ceremonies? Like a special way to perform them?

in “Daughter of Isis” by Joyce Tyldeley, it says:

“The most obvious difference between our modern and the ancient Egyptian marriage is the complete lack of any prescribed wedding ceremony. There was no Egyptian word meaning wedding, no special bridal clothes to be worn, no symbolic rings to be exchanged and no change of name to indicate the bride’s new status….”

About the only thing I’m seeing here is that they’d often draft a marriage contract. Of course, when they say no wedding ceremony, we have to take into account that there wasn’t evidence of such. Doesn’t mean it never happened.
