i wonder if time passes differently for deities.
do the minutes slow to hours for Khnum, as he intricately details every human He puts in the womb? do they slow to days, perhaps weeks, in an effort to sculpt and perfect every person He is to see born on a daily basis?
do the years quicken for Hehu, who has already seen so much, He bores and prefers to scrub ahead to the next era? to see empires rise and fall under the airy blink of His eye?
does time stop altogether for the Ogdoad, who are too distraught by the passage of time, coming from a birth during which there were no clocks to tick or calendars to flip?
and most important of all,
do They know it makes Them all the more amazing that through all of it, They still find a moment for us?
