Sokar, Great God With His Two Wings Opened

Sokar rules over the darkest hour of the night, is the personification of the spirit separating from the body, and presides over a desert land, complete with a lake of fire. 

He is the one who protects the vulnerable, newborn sun-god Ra from the jaws of A/pep. Sokar hides him in, well, the Cave of Sokar.
