While I truly believe the Gods present themselves to us all differently

Watching so many ignore ALL traits of a god or goddess to reduce them down to cutesy fluffy OCs just floors me. Yes, you can see them one way and that may be how they present to you, but telling everyone that reality is that Hades is NOTHING more than a dorky doof, or that Aphrodite is nothing more than sex and self love is ignoring SO MUCH richness into the reality of the Gods and dismissing the reality of the Gods as they are to others. Not to mention reducing powerful beings deserving of respect into cartoon characters. Disney has already done that.
