Hey guys I know we hear the “your grimoire doesn’t have to look pretty!!!” thing a lot, but something needs to be added to it.

Your grimoire, in it’s prettiest state, is going to be the compilation of YEARS of different, uglier and weirder looking ones.

The point of a grimoire when you’re starting in your craft is to take notes. Write down everything. Everything you did, everything you’ve learned. Toss everything in there, no matter the format, and start collecting notebooks worth like this.

Eventually you’ll take those many books, and sort the information out and make it pretty.

Stop worrying about making it nice now. That can come later. It’s important to write everything down first.
