Using Gods/Goddess/Deities In Spellwork

I’ve been seeing a lot of posts about using gods or goddesses in your spellwork and not only is this really disrespectful it is also really stupid.

• Regardless of what you think or believe deities are NOT just another element to include in your spellwork. They are not on the same levels as crystals or herbs.
• Many deities DON’T WANT to work with you. Plain and simple. They don’t want anything to do with your magic, your spells, none of it. And if you call on them to help you can easily piss them the hell off.
• If someone just walked up to you without even introducing themselves to you and asked you for a favor, what would you do?
• If someone just walked up to you, introduced themselves, and then ask you for a favor what would you do?
• Do you see my point? If you work on building a stable relationship with offerings, respect, and honor it is a lot more likely that some deities will help you. It is also possible that many WON’T or that many will purposely screw with you.

Stop doing this.
