War water is used for:

  • To gain protection. This is an extremely aggressive, forceful spiritual cleanser.
  • To reverse a curse and send it back to where it came from.
  • To place a curse. War water is a traditional and allegedly potent weapon during psychic warfare and witch wars.
War water can be used in:
  • Warding
  • Floor washes
  • To splash on a door step or other target
  • It can also be added to or used in spell work for protection, cleansing, reversal spells, hex work, and more (great for spell bottles and jars)

Standard Protective War Water

Place iron nails in a mason jar. Cut iron nails are recommended because they rust very easily, but any iron nails may be used. Add enough water to cover the nails. Leave this undisturbed until rust begins to form, typically within seven to ten days. The jar should be kept closed most of the time, but opened periodically to encourage oxidation.

Once the rusting process begins, more water may be added. Keep the jar in a refrigerator or some other cool area. Strain the water as needed, rusted nails can be saved for later use.

You may continue adding water to the original nails virtually indefinitely. However, should mold or bacteria ever form, discard everything, including the jar, and start again from scratch.

Standard Malevolent War Water

Collect water from a fierce thunderstorm. Add rusty nails, sulfur and some of your own urine. Store this in a cold, dry place until you need it. This version is used to either place or reverse a curse/hex. The rusted nails from the Protective Formula may be used to create this version.

Notes: War water is not intended for consumption, rusted nails should be handled with care. These are simple standard recipes, they can be personalized and adapted as necessary to give the water more kick.

@urbanspellcraft does the jar type matter? If not what other types of jars can we use?

You can use any jar you have available, @hevnoraakvonvalthume although if you are making the malevolent version, I suggest keeping it outside if you are using urine (smells) and in a darker colored jar of available.

I was checking out at Walmart, and as I was reaching for my bags I said, “Happy Holidays!”
And the cashier leaned in like she was sharing a secret and said “Merry Christmas.”
So I smiled politely and said, “Blessed Yule!”
And the look that spread across her face, you would have thought I’d literally stolen Christmas from her.

If you’re going to make a point of wishing me a happy whatever-you-celebrate, I’m going to make a point of wishing you a happy whatever-I-celebrate, and if you think that’s wrong you should consider getting “hypocrite” tattooed across your forehead.

🌘rainy day cleansing ritual🌒

hello loves! this is my go-to ritual for when i need a serious session of cleansing, grounding, and everything in between.

it’s best performed on a rainy day, but as always my spells and rituals are completely adaptable. if you don’t have something, find a substitute; if you don’t want to do something, don’t do it. simple! i hope this ritual helps you get back to your own kick-ass self.

the physical space ritual (optional, but awesome)

  1. clean your space. yes, i mean physically. having a clean, comfortable space to relax in is essential for your mental health. it’s also a great way to get any negative energy out of your body. pour all that emotion into your cleaning, and create a super-awesome space that makes you feel all warm and happy inside.
  2. add something new. whether this is a storebought decoration you’ve been waiting to put up, or an idea for a switch around of furniture, change something up in your space. there’s nothing like the refreshing feeling of your space looking brand new, and you’ll have something to be proud of as well!
  3. cleanse your tools, your bed, your walls… do your usual space-cleansing ritual that involves deep cleansing of everything you use on a day-to-day basis. getting rid of any built up energy will make the space you spend your time in feel so much fresher, i promise you.
  4. find a comfy space, light your favourite cleansing incense (mine is lemon) sit back and relax, and move on to the self-cleansing ritual!

the self cleansing ritual

this is best performed on a rainy day, but if you can’t do that, try to visualise rain all around you. rainy mood music can help with this!

  1. sit in a calm, comfy space where you can relax, and start to clear your mind. if you have a favourite go to method for meditation, use that. if not, i like to imagine my mind literally clearing, physically pushing all thoughts out of it.
  2. concentrate on the sound of the rain. let the noise overtake your thoughts, and visualise the rain physically washing away any negative energy that’s built up over time.
  3. get cathartic. cleansing can be as gentle or as brutal as you want. got any pent up emotions? let them out now, if you’re comfortable with it. just feel whatever you need to feel, and let it go. imagine the negativity just falling away from you with the rain.
  4. as negative energy is leaving your body, visualise your personal energy drawing positivity from the earth beneath you. feel that strength wash over your body, and envisage your whole body being filled with happiness and gentle joy.
  5. once you’re done meditating and cleansing, take a moment to just sit and exist. take as much time as you need to chill out and wake up.
  6. anything after this should be done as self care, for you and you alone. got a favourite tv show? watch an episode. finally got enough money for something you’ve been eyeing for a while? buy that, and treat yourself. honestly, after all this you deserve a bit of self love!

so loves, that’s what i do when i need a serious cleanse and self-love session. i hope it helps you if you use it!
