One of the things that pisses me off most about the MAP movement (besides the obvious) going on is how they DARE copy the LGBT+ flags in order to disguise themselves. To so closely follow original designs which could potentially put innocent LGBT+ people as targets. And to already give homophobes and other bigots even more ammunition by claiming they fit in the LGBT+ because of their “taboo nature”.

My wonderful grandmother passed away earlier this summer; I wanted to make a painting in her honor. It isn’t meant to look like her so much as invoke the peaceful feeling of her. Her favorite birds were cardinals and her favorite flowers were irises, so I included both. ❤
