I agree that Jesus wasn’t white, if we conflate white with European heritage – given that he was from the Levant, he would have been Middle Eastern, but might have had lighter, “white” looking skin. Tonnes of folks from the Levant have very light skin. So I think we need to get back to the point of recognizing that there is separation between race and skin color, to an extent. (Black folks with “brown” skin, white folks with “brown” skin, brown folks with “white” skin, etc.)

I think the vast majority of people understand that skin tone can vary among PoC. People living in Levant can range from dark to light… since it is in a region between Europe, Asia, and Africa.

You are really insistent on the fact Jesus could have possibly been light-skinned. I think the bigger question should be: why do you fear a dark-skinned Jesus?

🌈 My deck is best with emotional questions/answers rather than how something will go. I.e, if I ask how will a job interview go, it will tell me more how I will be feeling during it than how the interview will go.

🌈 Immediate future questions are my decks strong suits. Distant future he takes more risks with it, so it might not always be 100% spot on accurate. Though he does his best!

🌈 You can ask as many questions as you want, but please send them one ask at a time. I won’t answer asks with 2+ questions in them.

🌈 I only do one card pulls for the readings, I may offer full spreads in the future but I am considering charging for those since they take more time/energy.

🌈 Please leave a review of how the reading went! Even if negative. I am practicing, I want to get better and get to know my decks strong suits versus its weaker!

Hi. What do you do when you have problems with your faith? Like I consider myself a sorta logical person and it’s like I can’t break down those walls of “this makes no scientific sense” to enjoy and practice witchcraft. I believe magic is real, I pray to gods and goddesses, and I make the occasional sigil, but I feel as if I’m going through the motions and that my faith isn’t strong. There’s that nagging voice in my head that magic isn’t real. How do I deal with this?

Faith, just like everything in life, is in a constant fluctuation.  There are days that I feel so in touch and in tune with my path, practice, and craft…and then there are other days when it is the last thing on my mind.  And faith, like everything in life, is tested by what we know to be true.

Magic and fact can marry one another easily.  It takes time to understand this concept.  When we are children, we are constantly told that magic is real…and then when we grow up, that very notion is ripped from us and replaced with, “Get your head out of the clouds!  You need to be an adult!”  But that is the mistake that adults make too easily: magic is real and we have to find it even in the littlest things throughout the daily rush of life.

Find things that you love and hold onto them, incorporate them into your practice.  Let their energy rush through you like a breaking wave.  Let it spread through every limb and blood vessel, and revel in it.  That is real magic; life is the magic.

Being a witch is not about who has the best aesthetic or who has the most crystals or who writes the most posts about witchery…it is about living life with purpose and intention, and finding the magic in even the most minute details.
