I’ve come here to share an event that happened within the last few days. Since all of these individuals are notable members of the Kemetic community, I feel that this is the blog that is safest to share it.

Warning: Contained within is a ton of bullying, gaslighting, and transphobia. Be warned.

Just for the record, Robin owns the server, and Shezep is a former mod that was pushed out of his position.

Before others start pointing fingers, I am no one in this conversation. I was merely an observer.

I know it seems like a lot, but please read through it. I want these individuals to have to answer for what they did.

This mod barely has the words describe how utterly mortified these images have made us.  We don’t usually extend our commentary outside of our platform (Tumblr), but this is such an extremely revealing case of who these people really are, we feel it’s relevant.

To clarify:

anteater tongue = @sjwsutekh

Robin = theheartroad

Devo = thetwistedrope

The cruelty these people display is horrifying and the gleeful zeal they have being so hatefully cruel is disturbing.  The abuses to a server mod (shouting them down and being disrespectful) for disagreeing with them and the server owner’s spinelessness is equally disturbing to this mod.

As Memphis said, we generally don’t consider platforms outside of tumblr part of our bailiwick, but the egregious nature of the offense contained within these screenshots warrants sharing, given that most of the participants are active within kemetic tumblr, and a couple consider themselves leaders.  Due to the seriousness of the offenses detailed herein, we have independently verified these screenshots with a server member.  We would like to thank the submitter for their time and patience in compiling this for us, so that the community can see that their social justice leaders are even more awful and transphobic than those who oppose them.  Our hearts go out to the victims in the thread shared here; you did not deserve this.

  I feel like because this is the internet there was a chance of written miscommunication. Sometimes it’s hard to interpret what one another are saying (I mean I struggle with that in person sometimes.) Especially considering the heated topic, it’s not a new fact that Trans rights around the world are still being contested and there’s a lot to be done that could improve that. In that same breath, I can’t help but feel that the people negatively responding to PT and Shezep (considering how this was handled likely other people too) deserve the backlash they’re getting. It’s not just the way they responded, but the language they used and the behaviors they used. They didn’t helpfully respond to PT, they swarmed her.
