Bugs. They’ll clean out the books and crannies without damaging the bones. Maggots leave stains, so I’d recommend beetles. I wouldn’t boil bones that small, they’ve always fractured and discolored due to the heat, but maybe I was doing it wrong.
Ahh yeah I’ve heard that about maggots, and thanks for the tip about the boiling. I wouldn’t have known!
