hello~! I was outside today and had the sudden idea for a spell
The point of this spell is too rid yourself of a pain, a piece of you that has rotted away, and bring in new growth in the process.
You will need
๐ฑAccess to the earth
๐ฑDead plants, compost material (found on the ground and whatnot) ONLY what is safe to bury
๐ฑSmall stones, nothing special, just a pebble even
๐ฑA strand of the spell recipientโs hair, or a fingernail
๐ฑFresh leaves, newly picked out. Do NOT remove a leaf from a plant without:
knowing that the plant is not endangered
permission from the plant (if you do that)
practicing all proper methods of removing a leaf without harming the overall plant (i.e. donโt just rip something from the ground willy nilly. Be careful, be precise, only take what you need)
Steps
๐ฑPick out decomposing and dead material and place on the fresh leaf
๐ฑPlace strand of hair/nail on top of this
๐ฑPlace stones on top of this
๐ฑBundle this all up and dig a small hole to bury this bundle
๐ฑAs you follow these steps and cover the bundle up with dirt once more, remind yourself of this mantra:
Out with the old and in with the new
The dead leaves are the parts of you that you wish to rid yourself of. The stones are the heavy burdens you hold in your heart. By wrapping it all up in a fresh, vibrant leaf, youโre effectively surrounding yourself in new growth and healthy ways.
This will all decompose in the ground, feeding the world and helping to grow something new inside of your heart.
From a traditional witchcraft standpoint, using historical or traditional spells proves to be powerful and effective. Traditional spells also have energetic umph from years of use. Generally even when using a standard spell, a witch will still add in a personal element to make it their own.
Writing your own spells can be super helpful to understand spell structure and the hows for doing spellwork. However, using tried and true spells is completely valid, and can help if youโre stuck. And you can always adapt spells, especially versatile spells, like knot charms and spellboxes.
It is popular to privilege creating your own spells versus using published spells or traditional charms. But truthfully, there wouldnโt be the popularity all throughout publishing history of standard spells if a lot of people werenโt using them.
We suggest knowing how to do both. Start with standard spells or making adaptations to standard spells if it will help you build experience and confidence writing your own. If your comfort zone is creating your own spells, take that creative thinking and see if it helps you understand the structure and metaphysics behind the spells you find in books. You might discover some techniques you want to try this way.
When you want to keep the passion alive in the bedroom.
Ingredients
๐น Rosemary – for lust ๐น Dried tulip petals – for passion and desire ๐น Dried rose petals – for passion and lust. I used red roses ๐น Cinnamon stick – for lust ๐น Cayenne pepper – for passion and lust ๐น Red sea salt – for lust *I used red clay sea salt but it can also be made by mixing cayenne and sea salt until itโs nice and red (if you do do this, you donโt have to add the additional cayenne) ๐น Shrimp shells – said to be an aphrodisiac ๐น Oyster shell – also said to be an aphrodisiac
Method
You donโt need words when you add the layers, just focus on the intent and make sure to breathe.
Lay the salt down first and then the pepper if you didnโt mix it into the salt but this jar can be layered how ever you like, it should be aesthetically pleasing to you.
After you put everything in, donโt seal it because thereโs one more ingredient – sex.
Keep the jar near when you have sex, letting the energy drummed up to charge it. Afterwards, put the lid on and keep it around to promote lust and good sex. My wife and I keep it as an offering to Freyja, so itโs on her altar.
Hi there! I decided to post this because itโs been extremely helpful for me, and Iโm sure it will be for everyone else too!! Itโs a super easy spell I love to do.
This spell can get rid of your doubts or can get rid of a negative situation.
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
Piece of paper. Lined or printer is fine.
Black pen or marker.
The elements, be safe with them.
STEPS:
First, write down every single doubt you have on that piece of paper, or instead, write down the situation you want to get out of.
If youโre using fire,
BURN THAT BITCH.
If youโre using water,
DROWN THAT BITCH.
If youโre using the earth,
BURY THAT BITCH.
If youโre using air,
FLY THAT BITCH.
Thatโs it.
For fire, burn it and rid of the ashes. For water, soak it until the words are unreadable then flush it down the toilet. Earth, bury it. Air, rip it up on a windy day and throw it into the wind.
Using the elements will allow the negativity to detach from you.
Do this as many times as you need to, and let me know how it works for you, I love feedback!
Thatโd be a curse, yes. Iโm currently doing spellwork for a client that involves that.
I call these โveil liftingโ spells and have found mine to be quiet effective. Sorry though, I donโt share spells. I just thought the naming of it could be a good place to start.
Huh. Now Iโm curious if a veil lifting could also be used to stop misgendering from happening.
You could try it, but thatโs not how my magical system works. Your witching may vary. in my system a veil lifting is like breaking a glamor or the projection someone puts of themselves into the world.
Misgendering, to me, is a heavy topic because you are dealing with the weight of worldโs gender baggage passively absorbed by cis people as we grow up. If someone is a rigid jerk, thatโs a more difficult task. Part of building spells for me is finding the holes and ways to tweak perception or small things in the world around me.
If I were to build a spell to ward against misgendering I would build it more around me and make it specific like a glamour projecting your best version of yourself. Iโd do this from multiple angles like the way you look when you have multiple mirrors. Iโd cast a glamour on me, and Iโd make a charm to carry and probably build in a system that is rechargeable on a schedule like a spell jar that you shake daily or a candle affixed to the top and burned on a day of the week or the month or on a point in the moonโs cycle. The more the charm is embedded the less attention it needs in my system.
My trans and nonbinary friends have described misgendering as feeling like tiny knives. Iโve often wondered how that could be incorporated into trans magic. Like, a little mirror with a knife drawn on it to throw back the insult?
I could be way off base as Iโm a relatively cis white woman but a very important thing in my life is to meet people where they are, not to treat a group different from me as a having a monolithic experience, and to shut up and listen when someone who experiences this world differently is speaking to their experiences.
