I need to find resources for dirt magic but I don’t know how to do that. Cause googling ‘dirt magic’ feels weird. I can’t just look up dirt magic books. I just want a way to work with the earth and stuff man.

I have been thinking about going back into Wicca because I miss the structure of the rituals and the holiday’s and such. But I would incorporate traditional works with it as well, and recreationist kemeticism/witchcraft. I liked the altar, wheel of the year, etc. But I would not so heavily gender things such as a lot of Wiccans do. Idk, it’d be very eclectic but that is what I am. Eclectic.
**huge sigh** I have a lot of ideas but have no idea where to begin
I will always support “fluffy” and “soft” newbie witches who got into witchcraft because of Harry Potter, or The Craft, or fuck, even Sabrina The Teenage Witch, because everyone starts somewhere. If pop culture is what brought them to us then I am glad, because that means more people to this community who will get to learn and grow and expand on this journey.
It’s our job as “experienced” witches to help guide them and support and encourage their exploration of the craft. Not to ridicule or patronize them for how they personally experience or work with magic, but to help them when they need it. But remember, a lot of the path has to do with ones own personal exploration and discovery ~
There are so many points of view that I disagree with in the witchcraft community but the biggest one that I despise is that you have to perform action in order to execute successful magic. Not only can this be, and is fundamentally, extremely ableist, but it’s such a big way of gatekeeping it isn’t even funny.
To say that one can’t be a successful witch if they are unable to go through a lengthy ritual process involving circle casting or what have you is degrading witches who are unable to do that. Not to mention closeted witches who are unable to do more extravagant magic because of their poor or dangerous living situation.
I have performed so many successful spells based on intent alone and that is what works for me. As have others done the same. If such things don’t work for you, that is fine, but to discredit those who it DOES work for is disrespectful and downright elitist.
Any Wiccan’s I can bombard with questions?
