I just saw a post on how a-ep is a neccessary force that grants knowledge and introduces gratefulness into the universe and how Set is like a-pep because he managed to bit steal a-ep’s vast knowledge and the gods are all power-hungry douchebags like from the Stargate universe probably and we humans are all fools (except for OP) and what did I even just read–

fwiw a-ep’s name isn’t mentioned, not out of fear or the Scary God- you don’t want to invite that kind of influence into your life (Or OP does? I don’t know? You do you, I guess…) It isn’t ‘evil’ (I think we agree on this?), it’s nothingness. Emptiness. Non-conscious, non-motivated, not a being, really. 

A poops only objective is to completely obliterate everything in the universe and outside the universe into complete nothingness. It isn’t a necessary force. It wants to turn E V E R Y T H I N G into complete nothing. Utter nothingness is hard to comprehend for a mind but yeah, it’s pretty serious. 

These edge lords need to cool it lol.

Are you….really comparing isfet sympathizers to rapist, pedophile, etc sympathizers? 

First of all, no, I don’t agree with what they are doing at all. But to actually compare the followers of that entity as rapists, pedophiles, white supremacists…is not right. 

Here is why: 

Complete disrespect to those topics. I can certainly say as a victim of two of these things that I would not reach as far as to call those people such harsh terms. Nor their so-called sympathizers. Honestly, they are just ill-informed people and if they continue to choose to be ignorant, that is their own fault. But they are NOT rapists. They are NOT pedophiles. Unless you so happen to have receipts on these things, and you aren’t throwing around these terms so carelessly. 

This topic has gone far enough. The kemetic community has already had their voices heard. We all agreed that a poop is bad and wrong and if you follow it then you aren’t a kemetic. There were a few funny memes about it. But pushing very real and very harmful terms around is pushing it too far.

On a/pep followers having their own group name

okay so in this post I mentioned the possibility of a/pep followers having their own name that the kemetic community who don’t have the spoons to deal with rampant negativity could blacklist. Myself included.

A suggestion that might be amenable so that a/pep’s followers have their own name but that won’t require kemetics to censor it (and thus censor it in fifty different ways which makes a blacklist functionally useless) is the Unharmed.

at the very least, kemetics, please agree on a singular tag I can blacklist for this ridiculously negative discourse.

@sphinxliike The problem I have with this is they would still be in Kemeticism..when really, what they are doing is completely the opposite of what Kemeticism teaches.

I agree, personally, which is exactly why I feel they need their own distinct name, to separate them from Kemeticism. I don’t see how naming it makes it any more a part of kemeticism than not naming it and risking more and more people using the kemetic tags for something we find antithetical to our practice would do.

and seriously: the myriad ways we all censor a/pep’s name is very very bad for blacklisting. having a/pep followers have their own name, one that doesn’t require censoring, is a major point for me. I’d like to be able to avoid their community, and tbh even discussion of it, without having to add a ton of different variations on the same name with different ways I’ve seen it censored, only for yet another variation to pop up I hadn’t thought of before.
