O, Sekhmet, Mistress of Righteous Slaughter, Lady who Mauls, Fiery Eyes and Ra’s daughter. She who is the bringer and healer of disease. Pacified She walks beneath her acacia trees.
Kemetic Deity Exchange 2017!
I’m doing it a little bit early because I’ll be near my shrine on the 29th.
I was asked to do a ritual for Sekhmet by @phoenixoftheparadise
They asked for an offering of dragon’s blood incense, hibiscus tea and something red.I remade my altar so that Sekhmet would be taking centre stage, with a carnelian pyramid to the left and a red/orange jasper sphere to the right. Behind her is a dragon’s blood joss stick.
In the front we have a offering bowl of hibiscus tea and another bowl of dried hibiscus flowers that weren’t made into tea and will go into ‘temple storage’. In the centre is the Strength card from the World Spirit deck that I strongly associate with Sekhmet.
I didn’t have anything appropriate that was red, so I missed that out – unless the hibiscus tea counts!

I also want to massively thank @anaputuwet
for organising the kemetic deity exchange and all their hard work!
