Amazing! I love your responses to snakegate 2k18! Blocking anyone that wants to worship it! They arnt worth! Your time!
Lol snakegate 2k18 I love this
A/pep is just a misguided and misunderstood god. It’s wrong of you to judge so harshly. You shouldn’t shame those who worship Him.

Hello I’m a non-black woc (mexican) and I was wondering if it would disrespectful of me to practice kemeticism
Not at all! Kemeticism welcomes everyone with open arms. It isn’t a closed religion 🙂
Is kemeticism an open religion?
Yep! But it’s still a good thing to educate yourself and respect the culture it comes from.
What do you think about godspousery/god-consort?
Tbh I don’t have enough knowledge about it to say much about it/have an opinion. Right now my thoughts are essentially: You do you, live your life.
How does someone start their journey into worshipping your Gods (kemetic)? I was interested and had no idea how to start. Apologies if this offends. Thank you. :)
Honestly, how I approached it was I just read. I got my hands on as many books available at my current library, PDF’s online, and blogs on tumblr. After I started to read, and learn more about them, I made an offering and just introduced myself to them. I said hello, told them about me, and then let them know I am open to working with them.
The Kemetic gods are very warm and welcoming, if you express interest, I’m sure they would love it.
And no worries it doesn’t offend me at all!
Did you read?
I read a lot of things. This is very vague lol.
Do you believe Egyptian mythology is mainly or all spiritual allegories and important spiritual concepts or do you take it literally?
Both, in a way.
Not sure how to properly explain it. I definitely think that the mythos written throughout the history always corresponded with what was going on in the Egyptian civilization. Politics mainly, their way of life. But through that, at the same time, in a way I see that as the civilization learning more about the Netjeru and Their stories through that. Like, with working with Them, speaking to Them, in personal prayer. Learning more about Them in that way. And everyone’s first impression or even thorough impression of a deity is different from someone else’s, which is why I also think there are SO many different versions of the same story. Tale Of Two Brothers, the creation story, etc.
For example, someone who is a patron of Seth will see a story from his perspective, a patron of Horus will see his perspective, etc.
I also take some aspects literally. Creation, The Book of The Dead, Ma’at, etc.
I do think that the spiritual allegories are literal as well but more like, these are the lessons the Netjeru wish for you to learn, but it’s of course fiction. They never actually did such things, however They are the main characters in the story who help teach said lesson. It’s a message They are trying to send to the people.
I hope this all makes sense 🙂
people can interpret the gods however they like, drawing them as white is not going against Them
Ooh my first ask on this blog
Except that drawing deities from a culture of PoC is blatant white face. Egyptian deities are not from a place of white people. They are from a place where PoC live.
