Does anyone have any sources for easy/good self confidence booster spells or glamours? The ones I have found require ingrediants I don’t have immediate access too atm so the simpler the better. And more spoons friendly the better.

So how does one do a deity reading??

I know my method… But it depends what you mean by deity reading, like @filatarcangelus asked.

Oh sorry, identifying and communicating is what I mean.

Gotcha!

So identifying is… tricky. I have yet to find a fool-proof method of identifying a deity other than using a pendulum and asking every single deity name I can think of LOL

But for communicating with a deity, I do this:

  • First, I usually make an offering. It’s just the polite thing to do, you know? Anyways, I make an offering of water and/or incense and/or tea.
  • Then, I grab a pendulum (optional: this pendulum is dedicated to that deity, but I do also have an all-purpose pendulum that I regularly cleanse for deities that don’t have their own pendulum.)
  • Next, I use the pendulum to see if the deity is around and wants to talk. If yes, I ask if my desired method of divination is suitable for the deity’s message. EG: “Is it okay if I use the Rider Waite Smith Tarot to communicate your message?”
  • Then, if a deck is agreed upon, I shuffle as I normally would* and draw 1 to 3 cards, or I use a particular spread. I draw the cards faced down and use the pendulum to confirm that these are the cards the deity intended for me to draw.
  • I then flip over the cards and see the message. I use the pendulum to confirm my interpretations.
  • Lastly, I thank the deity for their time and dismiss their attention back to where they’re most needed.

*You can also fan out the cards and use the pendulum to pick the cards. I’ve done that before with good results*

Basically, I use a pendulum to confirm with yes/no/maybe my interpretations for a card reading. I imagine you can use another form of divination other than cards and get the same result.

And yeah! That’s what I do! I hope that helps 🙂 Feel free to ask me any questions.

This is amazing and so comprehensive. Thank you so much for the help!!

Acorn Charms

So I took my own idea and tried out an acorn charm! I’m an empath, so I made this one to help me stay grounded when surrounded by people!!

Ingredients:

  • (1) acorn, any size – associated with success, luck, and wishes.
  • (1) drill with a small bit.
  • (1) Xacto knife.
  • Assorted gem chips and herbs associated with your intent – I used amethyst, tiger’s eye, quartz, citrine, and carnelian for gems; marjoram, mint leaf, and lemon grass for herb.
  • Glue.

Prep: Gently remove the cap from the acorn. Using a drill or knife, carefully hollow out the center of the acorn, aka the nut. Use an xacto knife or similar to scoop out the rest of the nut (as a discord friend informed me, this part of the acorn is soft and will rot over time, so make sure you get all of it!!!).

Stuff your now hollow acorn with your herb and gem chips while focusing on your intent. Allow the energy to flow for as long as you feel necessary. Apply your glue to the inside of the acorn’s cap and press it gently back onto the top. Imagine it “sealing” your intent inside. Leave the glue to dry.

Casting: Once dry, charge or activate the charm as you normally would. Done!

I’m excited to try out these charms this fall!!! In theory, they should be easy to make, concealable in travel alters, bags, pockets, or worn as jewelry, and safe to dispose of if you like to bury your charms in nature.

Feel free to use and let me know if they work out for you!!

LOVE THIS!!!!
